I'm not sure if GCM is still selling the shock relocation kit as a standalone, but the stage 2 leaf conversion kit includes all the parts you'd need for the shock relocation while keeping the links. You can also use Dinky cantilevers in back. But converting to leafs in the rear works very well and just might be my favorite setup at this point. ![]() |

Looks like the dinky kit just uses Traxxas mini shocks cantilevers and links. Probably very cheap on eBay..

That's exactly what the Dinky kit uses. If you don't mind fabbing your own bracket, it would be pretty easy to set it up on your own. I like the long travel rocker profile better than the stock rocker profile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does dinky still sell the kit? I tried a quick Google search with no results, I did find a fella selling the frame mounts though. Would this help with the torque twist, or more for fitment of full interior |

Cantilevers mounted outside the rails with the links attached outside of the shock/link bracket eliminated torque twist on mine when I was running it that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have a look at the night riders jeep thread. He has fitted Vaterra Twim Hammers front shocks to the rear of his ascender, all stock Vaterra parts Falken Jeep JK flatbed Ascender by NightRider |

How can I find Rc-crawler.it ? All that shows is an 'Under Construction' logo. Okay, went back and started clicking and stuff is happening now. Last edited by anuthabubba; 09-11-2016 at 09:10 PM.

I didn't like his as much. I thought that it would affect the shocks worse with them pointing front to back on an angle when climbing. At least with them side to side, you can just add a sway bar and keep it a little more under control, but who knows. As of Saturday rcaddict supposedly had the gcm one in stock, try contacting them and see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapascrap |

GCM setup could look a lot more scale without all the brackets, like the Italian leaf setup. Fore and aft shocks control axle and leaf springs wrap. May not need swaybar with leaf springs, but it's easily added.
