Black would work, maybe Green or yellow, but any color as long it isn't too bright! (I bet you have a blue one)

Ok, I ordered mine a little while ago. Adam is getting ready to place a order if you want to get a certain color.

I run completely stock suspension with a lot of droop. There is absolutely no reduction in suspension travel whatsoever! If anything the suspension works better. Only issues are not being able to remove rod ends from skid with it mounted in the chassis and a smaller rod end needs to be used on the front upper link or grind out a notch to clear the stock rod end like I chose to do. Skid is durable as hell! I purposely beat the hell out of this rig just to show the Axial girls who's got the better rig. (it's working to. several have recently bought Ascenders) Anyway, this skid is holding up great! I can see it actually lasting for the life of the truck. And the clearance is very noticeable. I've run this rig enough at the same crawl spots to know exactly what it will do, and it's abilities are quite impressive now that it's belly isn't dragging.

I never actually measured, but I'm guessing 3/16" +/-

I'm glad to see the optional Ascender parts becoming more available! Somebody had to draw this up in CAD program, buy a printer, test print it, refine, reprint a couple times, install in some Ascenders and beat on it to be sure, then maybe tweak it a little more and finalize the product. They also have to buy printer plastic filament, electricity for the printer and pc, postage, none of this is free.

Would also be cool to see stock replacement skid with the angled link mount pockets, in colors of course.

It took a long time for sure, John was the tester. At 149 we do our best to make sure that ever part performs.

Well said Nate, you know, some people on here just don't take the time to think about the time and effort it takes to put a new product together. They are so consumed with trying to think of something negative to say that they can't see the positive and comment on it. I for one don't think that kind of attitude is very productive for our hobby!!!!

I guess I look at things from the other side because I can do all that you mentioned...

You can do it, but it still takes time, money, etc., most people still don't have 3D printers, mills, lathes. Please start making some cool Ascender parts for the rest of us then.

I've been concentrating on the SMT10. It's hard to improve the Ascender.
