Super nice build! The defender pickups are my favorite body out there. You should be really proud of your rig!

That's a great looking rig! Definitely one of the nicest D90 adaptations I've seen, for sure

Got a better wheel/tire combo for the spare. Lights are wired in along with the front/rear winch switch and controller and all is working well together.

I was inspired to make it an American market rig so I have begun the dash conversion.

Driver should be coming in the mail soon so I can get the interior finished up.

Are you going to make it in time for Motorama?

Small progress on the dash after work today. I'll let it cure over night and finish it in the morning.

Also received my driver figure, too small but will do for now.

Finished up today. I am really happy with the results for my first hard bodied build. The true test will be the performance at Motorama scale trials in a couple weeks.

Thanks for watching!

So knowing nothing is ever finished, lol. Something was missing to me, roof rack! So... got ahold of a team raffee defender truck exo-cage and some Steel leaf gutter guard material from Home Depot. Results have me in a good place and it now feels much more finished.

Too much or just enough?

Your truck turned out looking great. The roof rack really brings it all together. Great job my friend. Have you been able to get it out much yet? How does it drive?

It drives surprisingly well so far. Minor tuning of the suspension is needed but I will be giving a shakedown like no other at the scale trials G6 style next weekend

Nice looking rig! I have an RC4WD 2 speed I've been wanting to install in one of my ascenders, but couldn't come up with a way to get it as far forward as I wanted, then I saw your first post. Thanks for showing off your hard work

I tried to find you a couple of times at Motorama but didn't see your truck. How did it do?

I'm still here, the mud pit claimed the front ring and pinion. My MadMoose axled Blazer did much better for this event
