Ah....MAN!

So sweet, it looks seriously vintage and you need to take some sepia-tinted shots of it right NOW, blow 'em up into poster size!

Just like everyone else I got scared for just a second, but shoulda known better.

I want to see it on the rocks with all its buddies, soakin' up the sun.

Very creative, it's absolutely my favorite aspect of this hobby to see when someone knocks one out of the park with a unique body design.

You, sir - have made my day!

Hey, I have an idea - you should come up with a mechanic shop's name, like "Outback Engineering Special" or something, get it lettered in old-school script down the side... Maybe?

Thanks everyone, glad you like it!

The outside paint is a bit thin, but it’s got a few coats of satin clear over it all. I’m a bit worried about how it will fair against the rocks, after it’s trashed on the outside I will probably paint it silver to match the inside, so hopefully it will get a 2nd life after this colour is gouged off!

I like your ideas Durok, photos and racing team stickers, I left a space on the hood and doors, I was thinking a white oval with black edge and a black racing number 71, a bit like Herbie.

Ha! It kinda looks like Herbie already!, wasn’t intentional, it will look a lot more so with number panels! Maybe my subconscious was guiding me?

Maybe I could add a vintage style ‘Yeti Stealth Racing’ or something too?

Nice. Does it work for you?

When I put the one on my Bomber it was like night and day.

Yes the sway bar works, I have had one on for a long while and only took it off recently just to see how it does, on the extreme climbs with out the bar it will squat in the left rear and lift the right front tyre off the ground, or in extreme extreme cases that rear left squat will cause it to roll over, with a rear bar fitted it's better, more stable, but you only really need a very light bar.

This bar is made from the little flat steel strip from a car windshield wiper blade.

Those sliders are amazing. I should make myself some similar to those. I really like the design.

if your asking about the long bendy links that go from the axle up to the sway bar arms, they are just made from M3 threaded rod, bend as required and then i slide some small black rubber hose over the threaded rod.

I just can't get over how beat-up and battered everything is, yet functional.

It looks as if it was put back together with a hammer, blowtorch, and tongs halfway through the Baja 1000...

Really lovin' this rig.

all 3 Cragsmans Jeeps busted something, one drove out with 3 wheels drive, two were carried out with stripped steering servos.
