Nah it's not fast Nate, still using stock rtr gearing. With the 550 21t motor on 2S its as fast as a 540 35t on 3S. And on 3S it scoots along a bit faster than that. It should be the same as your ascender you have with that same motor.

Hey Dean, was just kidding about the speed, there's no more likey button, so I had to say something more. Usually first question out of a bystander, "How fast does it go?"

That is indeed the first thing you get asked bumping into people on the hiking trails. That made me laugh.

Yeah, but NOBODY has one with that sweet custom body/cage setup you made...

Keep the rubber side down, down under!

Good one.

Hey Durok! We don’t worry too much about keepin’ it rubber side down! Just gotta roll with it mate! Glad you dig my new body.

I made a mistake when I ordered the link spacers to extend the Bronco to wheelbase 4 and did not get enough of them, have been ordering from amain a bit lately due to nil in stock locally of the parts I need. Amain always have everything, envious of you guys with ya big fancy hobby shops and ya custom parts and ya axialfests and ya proline by the fires and ya G6’s ......

Got me some titanium rear lower links for both rigs, and now have all the parts I need to convert the Bronco.

The titanium parts are surely gunna make it go faster now! I’m bettin’ it will be over 9000!

It’s the end of the road for the Bronco!

Time to stretch it out to wheelbase 4 for use under the proline 66 Chevy pickup body.

Disconnect all the links from the skid plate and chassis, and remove all the skid plate screws.

Remove the short set screws and replace with the longer ones, slip a 12 mm spacer on and reassemble. The rear upper and lower links need a spacer on each end and the front links only require 1 spacer.

I used SSD titanium rear links for the lower links only so no spacers required, the SSD links are one piece at the correct length for WB4.

1 spacer added to each front link.

Refit links, battery tray mounts etc and screw it all back together. I had to lengthen the motor wires and use a servo extension cable to finish it off.

Good times! This will be great for the next trail drive! No hurry now to get the 66 Chevy body done, I think the old Blazer body will get another run for a while!

Yes had some use for sure m1tch, that’s my old rtr blazer body from years ago.

It saw some action today on a trail drive, was good to get out and wheel with my son driving the blazer.

Today’s trail drive, sand, rock, dirt. Followed a trail down to a little beach and explored to granite nearby.
