Perfect flex! Me too on perfectionist, dang sometimes I waste a lot of time and it's not necessary to be so perfect all the time lol.

I have no idea on performance yet because I am still dicking with the interior. I need to become less of a perfectionist. I would complete my trucks and my honey do's a lot faster.

Rhett said it's his tool holder. It seems he has an issue putting tools away

Get your pre orders done. At the pace I'm going I won't need them for a while.

I decided to redo the interior in black using a combination of coroplast and styrene. Here is where I am now. I gave dad the other interior for his Bronco.

A little update. I completed the floorboard. I raised it so I could get electronics under the driver and the battery under the passenger seat to off set the weight of the driver. I also am trying my hard at making a roll bar. The hole in the dash for the steering wheel was to close to the center of the truck. Because I have the big center console my driver had to reach to the right and looks stupid. So I am filling the hole and the speedometer so I can put them where I want them. Update on the driver as well we decided he would not need surgery. The floorpan lowered in the foot well area fixed that.

I was trying to carve the stitching for the seats into a practice piece of foam. There was whisky involved but it may work sober with a sharp knife.

I learned you have to wait in line 2-3 hours for a 5 min run. With all the vehicles there I think they need to expand the allotted space and engage the driver's more. If that is not possible. Maybe a cell phone app where they could notify a driver of there run say 15 minutes out. This would allow folks to enjoy the other stuff Motorama has to offer while they wait. Maybe I am way off here I don't know. Maybe some competitors could chime in.

Well first attempt at braising. Not perfect but better than I was expecting. The last 2 joints were pretty nice. If I had taken a minute to practice it I wouldn't need to grind.

Looking good Cary, nice to see you taking a little Cary time. Are you weathered in?
I ordered one of the GCM motor forward kits so I have another T case, are you still wanting one? I'm making some changes to my K10. It got a new front end and drive train and I'm thinking about stretching it out a little bit and going with a different body. I'm going to do a big comp in Oct with Natedog, you and Rhett want to come out?

Yeah I will eventually get the motor forward. If you can part with the t-case I will take it. We got about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. We are dug out now.

I did a lot of research on waterproofing. I decided to conformal coat the circuit boards on the speed control, receiver and servos. I also did Rhett's. I am trying to get him ready for a comp on Sunday.

When I get mine I will see what it would take to do a DIY one for you!!
Good job on the water proofing. Cool to hear that you and Rhett are going to a comp. I'm going to put together a box for you guys in a week or so, get some new parts on my guy Rhett's truck and maybe something for dad!
