Looking good Cary, remember you can adjust the toe in if needed with a few washers.

Got a little work done. I put Proline 90mm up front, MIP drive shafts. Codyboy axles. I moved the rear shocks out and reversed the slider mount and raised the rear link location to the battery tray mounting holes. Something is off in the rear. My links are 66mm upper and lower which is what I thought they should be. A little guidance from the pro's please.

Hey Cary, been gone all day, and just got back a little while ago. So why do you think your links are way off? Your pinion angle looks ok, does it tilt a lot when you compress your shocks. How does your wheel base line up with your wheels?

Are you using the correct length links? I can't tell what's going on by the pictures, but the wheelbase is way off in the rear.

When the wheels line up in the wheel well like this, it's right

I used 66mm top and bottom in the rear. Is that what yours are?

Hey Cary, I can't remember if you said you adjusted that chassis and skid to the bronco length? If you need different size links I have some extras.
Do you have a kit manual that shows all of that?

Hey Jon, good to see you popping in on us

Rear upper and lowers should have 66mm links with 12mm spacers. I see you have spacers - what about the frame length? Should be at WB2 I believe?

Ascender Wheel Base & Link Reference Guide

*EDIT* It looks like you flipped battery tray mounts around? With the links mounted up there it might be what is pulling your axle out of alignment, though I see you do not have the spacers in there.. Hmm. I had a similar problem when I flipped the tray mounts to relocate the rear links, so I flipped it back and put everything back to what the manual says and everything lined up properly.

I have the manual but it is different than the guide on crawler. I may need some links but not sure yet. I did move the tray and everything looks like the manual other than reversing the battery tray holder.

Thanks. I am pretty sure it's WB1 and at this length I seem long.

The pic with the body on makes me think that the front wheels are too far back as well, maybe you have the trans plate 1 hole out to the rear? If the links are the right length and the chassis is at WB1 then there is not much else it can be.

Can you look at the pictures I posted of the chassis? It looks right to me but I agree the front seems back but not nearly as bad as the rear.

I have been holding off commenting to see if anyone noticed something that I did not, because I don't see anything wrong with your links. If anything, your body post holes are in the wrong place. To my eye, your body looks like it is sitting too far forward. It is hard to tell from pictures, but it looks to me that if the body was mounted about 1/4" further backwards, both of the wheel wells would line up perfectly.
