Vanquish VP parts, my VVDs are here and they look great! I can't wait to install and test, but working on some link mount project with the K10 at same time. Part number VPS08201, in stock at RPP Hobby: https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/vps08201.htm |

I think these are in the lead for my favorite Currie axle in the looks department (although that new Baja Rey axle in development is looking rather impressive). The SCXII versions were the first that really appealed to me with the one piece housing with the small center section but there is something about the Ascender version that I like better. Upgrading all the 5x10 bearings from the stock housings to 5x11 is also a brilliant move. |

Awesome products coming out of vanquish.so will these units get rid of the axle hop when out of phase?

Don't know how they would do that, I guess put the axles in phase to get rid of it?

I got word that the Vanquish pumpkin is actually larger than the one on the stock Vaterra housing. The same person told me there might actually be slightly more ground clearance on the Vaterra pumpkin because it is rotated. In his photos I noticed that the VP ring gears are on the opposite side when compared to the stock Vaterra axles. Was there any reason for this? |
