Default Body help.

Brand new to this. I used to ride/race motocross as a hobby, but I've recently ran into some back problems that have slowed that down a ton. So I've been looking to find something else to tinker with. Always loved RC cars, trucks, planes etc. So I stumbled across crawling and it seems like it could be a lot of fun.

Today I bought a brand new RTR Ascender Bronco. I haven't even drove it yet. I love bronco's always have but I personally hate the baby blue and white (got a great deal on it at a local hobby shop).

I'm really curious to what all bodies we can run on this chassis. It seems limited. I'm hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction for other body options for these Ascenders. I'm looking for something less bulky.

Looking forward to venturing off into this hobby.
Thanks a lot!

Congratulations on your new Ascender and welcome to RCC! Practically every crawler body (and many others) fits because of the adjustable frame rails and adjustable front and rear suspension links!

Look around the build threads and vendors sites. What body do you like?

Edit could also buy another Bronco body and paint or do outside paint on the rtr blue body.

Thanks for the kind reply!

So of course my luck the 12mm link spacers are SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE. Great. Hopefully I can find some somewhere.

You're welcome.

RCMart has them in stock, didn't check shipping but prolly inexpensive but might take little longer.

Thanks for the help guys. I managed to find some at gravesrc. Scooped up their very last set. Now to find a body!

Really digging the hilux. But an older ford pickup sounds nice too! Decisions decisions.

Lol you found me!

But I was looking at the Proline. I haven't even seen the RC4WD Version honestly.

I mostly mean bulky by the shape of the body. I know it's much smaller than the Blazer no doubt. But the "blocky" shape I guess you could call it just isn't for me. I like pick ups!

I'm planning to use a Pro-line 80's Chevy pick up body. Only problem is I still have to buy an Ascender.
