Default Big Vivs Ascenders

New to here. Here's my 2 rigs. The yellow one I built from kit. The black one I got used. I plan on changing it to the shorter WB K10. Cheers!

Nice trucks! I had the same problem with my stock links. They bent like no other links I've ever dealt with.

I made 4mm stainless links on mine and just reused the stock rod ends drilled to suit, problem solved.

Mounted up some Fanquish beadlocks and rock beasts. I really like the looks of the black wheels with this body better. The tires work nicely too!

Just an update... The second k5 blazer ascender has been dismantled. I sold the body and picked up the k10 cab and cage. Next will be changing chassis to WB2. Glad my first ascender was a kit for the extra bits! Pics coming soooooon.....

Finally got the body put together and painted. WB2 with rear WB4 links. Also put on the new SSD heavy knuckles and made up a weight to mount into the battery tray.

I just noticed that I think I have the front grill mounted upside down. Doh! That explains the gap on the top!

SSD. Brass. Extra heavy. Yeah, they are nice and come with bigger than stock bearings.

Gonna try out these Hyrax tires. Looks like I'm going to have to do some fender trimming. Anyone else running these on the K10 Body?

What wheels are those? I love the 8 hole wheels, especially for this type of truck.
