Default Project Rust bucket

I acquired this beauty in a trade. Heh. Came with a Honcho cage/body. Needs a good teardown and cleaning but I'm happy to have a 3rd Ascender in the fleet.

Not sure what wheels these are but I'm leaning knockoff. Also need to research what brand that front bumper is. Will be a good winter project.

Was considering trying another custom body. Cardboard is cheap so I put together very rough mock up. Dakar rally truck-ish with a caged rear. Thoughts?

New plan for the rust bucket. Managed to get lucky on my mystery box this Christmas and score a cruiser body. So, ordered a GCM relocation kit for the motor and trans. Will shorten to wb1 and try my hand at a hardbody build.

And the inspiration for this build. The one that I wish I could have back. My 64 Toyota Land Cruiser I drove in high school. Thing was a death trap and it's a miracle I survived driving this thing.

Well, I finally decided to get started on the body. TS-33 Dull red came out nice. It's darker than it looks in the pic.

Did some interior work tonight. Pretty happy with how grimy this turned out. Big thanks to Imthatguy for the floor mat idea.
