How are you mounting tail lights in the Blazer body?

On the Blazer body the headlights are obviously not a problem to mount LEDs in but what are you all doing for mounting the LEDs for the tail lights?

If you have not purchased your buckets yet, check out these...good quality.

Spare-Time-Hobbies offers up a set of buckets and lenses....I have them on my Bronco and the quality is good.

On my Bronco, I did not cut the body. i marked off the area where the light bucket would shine through then I masked off the surrounding area and lightly sanded off the paint with fine sand paper. I then drilled tiny holes and sandwiched the body between the bucket and lens. I decided to do it this way for two reasons...
1. The body will stay nice and rigid at the corner if I did not cut it out.
2. By sanding the paint off the lexan it left the area frosted and acts like a diffuser to slightly cut the intensity of the red leds.

Another tip, before screwing everything down test it and see if you want it a lil brighter or a lil softer and paint the bulb side of the bucket black or silver depending what color the bucket is to begin with though.
I just left mine all black as I did not want any intensity, just a soft red glow.

Thanks. Got some tail light buckets ordered. I think I will probably glue them in with E6000.
