DEFINITELY going to be following THIS Thread!! I've only gotten through the first page tonight, but I've already seen some Master Fabrication, with those Ascender PORTAL Axles and basically scratchbuilt Transfer Case!!!
I really look forward to catching up with the rest of this Build, and seeing what else you've accomplished.

.... I'm only 14 years younger than you, and used to work on Jet Engines for a living in the Air Force. After seeing the last Thread of yours and now this one.....
Makes me feel a bit like the Class Dunce!! I had lost all of my Machine Equipment, so I'm scratching along with hand tools. Still, maybe I can learn something from this!

Thanks Guys, I try to post my threads so you can see how I do everything!

Time for a update, I finally cleaned up my bumper and fitted to the frame.

Some new shoes for the old boy.

Not sure if you noticed but I built some new sliders. The running board sliders were in the way of my body, I just couldn't get it as low as I wanted to. I like this stance!

The next thing I had on my list was a tilting Body/bed. This shows how I put that together.

The tilting bracket is doubling as a rear light plate. The lenses are out of a lego kit.

Final pic is a shot showing underside with the "Ascender Portals".

Thanks for looking!!
Ernie

Dang that thing is looking good! Great color combo and I really dig those wheels. I just wrapped a set of those with some RBXL's. That bumper turned out awesone too! Well done Ernie!

Veritable "Showcase" build, my man... absolutely outstanding application of ideas, techniques, and engineering!

(although I may have gone with other colors, if it were me - but that's to personal taste... )

Amazing work Ernie. As usual. Some hooks off the cruiser front bumper would look great as tie downs on that flatbed.

Thanks Ryan, they are nice wheels, and they go together easy. Just a little trick I use when mounting tires; I use a cotton swab and a little Dawn to lube the inside and outside of the tire bead, everything just slides together so nicely!

Now come on, you and Chris are killing me here! One thing I need to be careful of is mounting any thing on the bed that could get hung up on the rocks. It is already wider than I really wanted, but great idea! We'll see.

Somehow I knew there'd be "hangups" with that idea.

I was really pleased how easily they went together. For whatever reason doing beadlocks is one of my least favorite tasks. They might as well be glue-on wheels cause once they're set, they're a married pair. While I was doing mine, I added the rotating break rotor hubs for kicks.

I'm totally in lust with this rig, Ernie. You never stop amazing me with your talents and the way you always think outside the box. It's going to be hard topping this build, but I bet you do it.

Oh, and thank you for the finishing touch for the Goat.

Hey Jon, So did you have to drill any holes???? Pictures
Thanks for the kind words, kind of thinking about a head ache rack and a couple stacks in the flat bed. We'll see.

Don't pass them out, unless they are deserved, and I think you qualified...
The door is always open for you Ernie.

Zip ties for a radiator - that's perfect!
I love to repurpose things, but you need a creative eye for it. I never would have seen this one, so thanks for the tip.

Do you have a good picture of it mounted?

Glad I'm going a different route with my '46 PW so I don't have to compete with fabrication skills like this.

If you have followed my builds you know that I like to repurpose old and scrap supplies.

I left the grill clear to show the radiator I'm making out of zip ties.

All for now, maybe more progress tomorrow.
