Which light kit did you use? I'm having one hell of a time getting the parts I want... G-Made SR02 steelies are out of stock everywhere. I'm thinking about a scaler fab bumper. The lights I thought I wanted use a controller box and I don't want turn signals and all of the crap. I cut a sheet of aluminum and filled in the bed under the spare and around the shock towers. I wanted some 5mm led's to fill the holes in the rear bumper and I'm liking the buckets. My goal was to keep the lights on the chassis rather than the body. Someone on face book took the honcho bed and mounted it to the power wagon cab that looked pretty sweet. Too many choices!!! Every time I think I know what is next it is out of stock!!!! AARRGH!!!!

As for the red lights in the back, I just set some red 5mm leds in the crossmember and hit them with some hot-snot. the buckets I used on the cage were from an Axial light bucket parts tree (enough buckets to make 4-5 sets) which came with both clear and yellow lenses. I used the small round ones and stuck red 5mm leds in those. mounted then to the cage with some m3x6mm button head screws. I just tied those in with the front led light string, the ones in the cross member i just ran straight into the receiver. Axial 80045 Light Buckets And for the LED strings I got them HERE and then crimped on some servo plugs to power them. |

It's been a while since I posted anything up or did anything with the F-100 since I've been building up a Bomber and my 2nd TRX4. I picked up the new Full Size Solid Mount Battery Tray Conversion VTR331016, the install was a breeze. While I was working on it I tossed in a HobbyWing 1080 that that I had laying around and also mounted up some Axial large bucket lamps on the bumper. Anyways, here are a few snaps. |

That LiPo is a Hyperion G5 3s 5000mAh 50c, originally picked up two of them for my Bomber. Hyperion has them on sale on their site. | |

Can you take a picture of how much front tire sticks out last the body please? I’m setting my truck up and it just seems to hang at least half the tire out past the body and it’s driving me nuts. I’m runing the new ssd steel slot wheels with pitbull braven ironsides and they’re half a tire out. I’ve been looking at all the f100’s I can on here and it seems like they just aren’t that bad but could be the angle too. I’ve tried a few different wheel options I have on hand and all seem to be the same. Im also used to be blazer body which is a bit wider so I may just be being fussy. Thanks Ben |
