ASCENDERS ASSEMBLE! at PROLINE's by the fire!

Okay fellas, this could be where we make ourselves known.
we've talked about a gathering of ascenders, why not do so at proline's event?
*oh, and there might be a couple rigs there making a simultaneous public debut... the result of an epic build-off between 2 of our very own RCC Ascender folks!

all info on PROLINE's facebook page
MAY 19-20 in Apple Valley, CA
https://www.facebook.com/events/1990538174538226/

we started talking in my build thread, and there are some GREAT ideas involving our furry little helpers ;-) that we ascender owners seem to all have in common. "thumbsup"

so the question is... WHO is actually going to go?

i'll start off with saying COUNT ME IN (my son wants to go too!).

HOWEVER...
i don't have anything for my son and i to camp in (my wife has a grand Cherokee but i cant take that and leave her with my little scion FRS that she hates) so i would have to drive my FRS as close as i can and maybe rent a U-Haul or something once i get there.

i'll probably just pay to reserve my spot and figure it out along the way.
when i get confirmation i will post here.

What's the camping like? And is that included in the ticket? I have a camper and would like to bring or is the camping tent only?

Man this is tempting. The kid will still be in school at that point so I would imagine he and the girlfriend would stay home. RPP Jamboree is on my radar for October (they're finalizing dates currently) so I don't know if I could swing both. 2 VERY long days each way if I drive out. I'll do some research....https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...00165de087.jpg

Sounds like lots of fun! Basically in the desert east of Victorville California, good that it's in May before it gets too hot. Camping should be fine, but can get cold at night, I've spent some time down there before but probably not at this exact spot. Now where's ma cool kitty shirt to wear for this grand event? :)

Hey Ryan, just a heads up for you. Marcia and I are thinking about doing another cross country trip this fall and the timing off the RPP Jamboree would fall right in the middle of that trip. So for us we are putting RPP on hold for the year after.
Just thought I would throw that out to you now so you could plan your trip. Proline this year, RPP next year. "thumbsup"
Ernie

Good to know. I started looking at flights last night. Not terrible and I just looked at flying to LA. Vegas could be an option too.
Option B) since I'd have to rent a car out there anyway, rent something here and put the miles on that rather than my '04 Silverado. I know it could make the trip but at 17 mpg, it'd get expensive fast. I've already put it on the radar of the boss at home.

Since the date of PLBTF is at least unofficially out for 2019 (5-18-19), which I hope is accurate since PL hasn't posted up here yet, I figured I'd throw out here that the girl and I are already planning to make the trip out this year.

Long trip, but there are a few of y'all I really want to meet up, and hang out, and crawl, and party with! Nothing on the wrong coast rivals the California meets so it looks a road trip is inevitable. "thumbsup"
