nice! I'm looking for some old school KC style buckets. I'm trying to mount the lights mostly to the frame and bumper so I can swap bodies.

I usually mount them to the body and use an extension for easy plug and play. But yes mounting to the chassis does make it easier.

New bumper and lowered the body 3/8". I broke my dremel bit so the headlights are on hold until I go get some bits. I might adjust the bumper tight to the frame but I will have to modify the mount.

Going to try some Iroks on it to see how they work a long with some rc4wd wheels and scale lock out hubs and center caps for the rear. Should be here Tuesday.

Just realized the tire's were 1.9 not 1.7 like I thought they were so I guess I'll keep the wheels but put the tires on my daughters rig. Oh well they were a good deal.

More lights! I'm not a pro carver by any means but they turned out pretty good.

One of these days the snow is going to melt and I can get outside again. Not being able to go outside is really weighing my patients! Maybe by this weekend with out weather hitting the 40s by the end of the week the bank I went out on a couple weeks ago will be open again. I have to try this thing out!

Anyone tried the 4.19 Hyrax? I just ordered a set and I am hoping they work well. I've never tried Hyrax of any size but they look like they should get the job done.

They grip fine. The small diameter makes the center drag on everything, and they're not very scale looking. Other than that they run fine.

If you don't like your weather move to CA - was 92 today. Unbelievable!

I also ordered a set of sx swampers. I had a coupon and you had to spend 100 to get the discount. I was going to pick up the SSD knuckles but they are still out of stock.

I hear you on needing winter to quit and go home. Looks like we're due for rain in MN this week so that should help melt this last round of s%#w (no swearing) we got. I need some rocks, dirt and non-frozen water in my life. Bad. Here's to hoping...

That's for sure. This year is a little crazy. I was hoping to be able to go up north by by brother in Duluth early May but now I think we will have to wait until Memorial Day.

Got the tires on. Now I need to drop the body a little more.

Lowered the body about 3/8". I can't get it any lower unless I trim out the main support. I might make some new support that will miss the shock tower. Still looking good.

Almost done with this one for a while. I have been working on another project on the side from this one. I just need the chassis upgrades which are just bolt ons. The other build will be in the trx4 forum due to the axles and trans I am using. I was going to use ascender axles but I ended up getting a very good deal on a set so I couldn't pass it up.

Next up, codyboy axles and SSD knuckles and lockouts. And a custom set of high clearance links.

looking great! i cant make a choice on what bumper either... well i think i would go with the first one, just because i cant get onboard the whole stinger bumper look.
i still cant get over how it looks like a separate bed. so cool!

just wait til you get those codyboy axles!

Yes sir I can't wait. I just sent codyboy a message that I am going to take his entire kit. Should climb like spider man!

Turned out well.

The pre-drilled body would have been a non-starter for me. [shrug]
I just setup a MT body on mine - the JConcepts 'snoop nose' chevy. Works pretty well, a little odd, and not nearly as nice as yours. But WB4 and I don't mind thrashing it to death. LOL
