Default Need a "spirit guide" for my new Ascender....

In my late start R/C journey, I have been blessed by my Uncle with a starter / trainer plane, which I promptly nose dove into the dirt on it's maiden voyage...

In an attempt to negate any bad juju, I felt that a spirit guide was in order, hence:

After that, there have been many successful flights (in less than optimal conditions) without any further repairs...

Since then, I had grabbed an S/C truck that scares the bejeebus out of me, so I went back the well and ended up with this:

I just got an Ascender, and trying to maintain a positive relationship with the R/C gods, I feel another spirit guide could be helpful...

Any suggestions?

Well, if friendship and advice are what you seek, fate and the rc gods have led you to the right place.
Beyond that...

Well, what exactly are you asking? lol
9/10 for intro. I like the cut of your jib, sir!

Just ask the questions, the knowledge you seek is vast and fed willingly to the hungry!

I am trying to find a "passenger" for my Ascender that speaks to my soul... Someone to guide me on the path that the R/C Universe takes me...

Sadly(?), one of the first things that came to mind when I thought "rock" crawler was:

Granted, his zest for life ("rocks") and "go get 'em" attitude may just be the thing to get me to where I need to be...

A passenger figure would be great, but I was thinking more of just an inspirational pic I can tape in the window to give the appearance of a driver. Or scared sh*tless passenger... Or both...

tape in a pic of THE ROCK for a driver, and tape in a pic of TYRONE BIGGUMS for a passenger?
(it just occurred to me, there are no "Chappelle show" action figures? NECA!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE US THAM!!!!!)

*whoa, somebody else was thinking the same thing, back in 2007! the now defunct and much missed toyfare magazine (of which yours truly was a huge fan, subscriber, and published letter writer) http://www.ironcowprod.com/dave-chap...as-rick-james/
gotta dig through my back issue collection and see if i still have that one...

(i wrote them a couple times, asking why we smallville fans didn't get more figures from the show. their reply was something to the effect of Tom Welling (Clark) drawing social security before it would happen, plus they would rather gouge out their eyes with melon ballers. 1 year later, we got more figures and i wrote them again, saying something to the effect of "in your face" and where do i send the melon baller lol oh and sadly i admit i never bought any smallville figures. and now I'm glad. yech.)

How about Bart Simpson driving and Maggie riding shotgun with her pacifier?

So yeah... I totally took Shinchu's idea and ran with it... Instead of photoshopping Donny in the back seat, I think I will try to find / make a scale Folgers can and stick it on the bed of the truck...

Lazy... The Dude has been lazy...

Work has been one project after another for what seems to be an eternity...

And once again got wrangled into coaching my son's little league team... Funny how after 7 seasons, still not a soul has realized I don't know what I am doing out there.... LOL

Thankfully, since we are entering kid pitch, I am retiring my pitching arm and plan on sitting in the bleachers for this season...

I actually walked out to my workbench and knocked the dust off of it...

Need to get all the toys back together and start getting my batteries back in order... I was really missing being out on the trails the other day...

Thanks for asking... Glad to see someone still cares... LOL
