Default Body post

Does anybody know if Axial or any other manufacturer has the same size (thickness) body post that will fit the Ascender. I ask because I want to use a aluminum post that is the same color as my body and not have two black dots on the hood. If I could find some green ones that are the same size, it would look much better. Thanks for your input.

Don’t think so, but Vaterra V100 body posts are little stronger because holes are smaller. Just set height and drill one hole slightly bigger so that screw pins barely squeeze through the hole. These maybe available somewhere in color and or aluminum.

If you want a clean look, why not use magnets? Some heli use them to mount canopies and if they can hold up to 3d flying, I'm sure it would hold up to crawling.

Stick the magnets over the holes from the underside of the body. Cut a piece of scrap lean the size of the hole. Paint it the color of the body and stick it to the adhesive from the back of the magnet.

Rc4wd TF2 rear bed mount posts are plastic but pretty strong. Also the side cab mounts posts. Might have to drill a hole or two.
