So this new version has taller rear/upper link mounts on the chassis side, correct? Looking through the parts list, I can't seem to find those brackets, are they one of the smaller brackets that are included with the battery tray conversion vtr331016? https://www.horizonhobby.com/solid-m...er-p-vtr331016

If that's not them (and I don't think it is), does anyone have a part number for the new rear upper link risers?... or even a clear picture of said bracket so I know what I'm looking for?

Correct, it comes with RULRs that interlock the frame rails and skidplate with two height adjustment holes. Just checked and the rear upper links do come installed in the upper hole.

They are not included in the new battery relocation kit that you linked. I'll see if I can get a picture of them on my K10, if they're not available separately they should be.

Axial just released a builders kit. I hope we can expect to see the same from Vaterra?

I screwed up and didn't setup the correct part in our system prior to the release..BUT they will be available.

The part number will be VTR234032 They might not be in our system yet but should be within a week from now.

Snapped a picture of the new RULRs that come installed on the new 1972 Chevy Suburban Ascender-S 4WD RTR (VTR03094)
https://www.horizonhobby.com/1-10-19...ator1_10022018

I had them installed on my K5 Blazer for a bit and now installed on left rear of my K10 with the rear panhard setup, and the right hand side RULR in the picture to show the entire part, thanks Rich!

Sweet, thats awesome! I keep procrastinating on making my own raised RURL's so I'd love if i could bypass my laziness and buy them .

Better picture of the new rear RULRs (plastic is very nice fiber reinforced stuff!) and through-hole transmission output shaft that come on the new 1972 Chevy Suburban RTR S, time to upgrade my transmission.

I must be skimming over it or something, but I still can not find that part (RULR, vtr 234032) listed by itself anywhere! Can you help a brother out?

I wonder if those RULRs will work with a 10.2 chassis?

Nice design and easy to install, but not as tight as I would like... Got three sets for all my Ascenders... Still have them on Project Clearance Rack....

They still have some flex to them... Tighter than using the battery tray mounts, better than stock mounts though... but not as stiff as some other designs....

The shape of the wheel wells look a bit off to me, at least the rear one.

I see he's beefed them up since last time I looked, good.

Also, what are the chances that we can get the Suburban grill with the light buckets as a standalone? I want to get another K10 body, but that body comes with the grill that has the stickered headlights.

If it interests you, there is a guy on Shapways who prints buckets and lenses for the k10 grille.

It's not the bucket and lenses I'm after. It's the grille that's already pre-drilled out for lights. I drilled out and used Vaterra light buckets for my son's, but of course drilling it out is not going to be as clean as something done from the factory.

While we are waiting for the rear link risers to be released, did anyone else notice some Ascender parts (specifically the chassis rails and all the shock components) are now listed as "No longer available" on Horizon's site?
