Default Skid plate

Has anyone come up with a front skid plate for the Ascender that protects the steering link since nobody makes one for that model. If so, can you post pictures.

Default Re: Skid plate

On my first Blazer I've not had any problems, they rub on rocks sometimes but still going strong. On my K10 moved steering links to top of knuckles and made new tie-rod and drag link. They scrape rock occasionally on really difficult spots but not a problem or hindrance.

One earlier version of steering mod:
Natedog's Vaterra ASCENDER

Later stronger version:
Natedog's Vaterra ASCENDER
