Thanks for starting a thread, I was imagining the servo mount piece (for WB4) but didn't recall the ESC mount! Nice start to your basement course, enjoy and keep us updated!

Can you drill the head off the screw? If you are changing the servo just do that. Or get a horn for the new servo.

Honestly I would just order a new one. You can get a ds3218 on Amazon under$20 and it's a great servo and comes with an aluminum servo horn.

Ehh. I know using quality Allen's make a difference, but if it's already that bad it may be to far gone. Maybe a left handed drill bit would back it out.

Give Horizon a call. They've sent me out replacement parts. Not sure if they'd send you a servo tho

If you can get the head off the screw, then maybe pull the horn off and try locking pliers on the stub of the screw.

You need to use heat to melt the glue. You can bake in the oven at a low temperature, or even use a halogen floodlight bulb.

I've heard the baking works best. Not sure how plastic wheels will hold up to it tho

Boiling does not ruin the pan. The oven works but you have to be very careful with the temperature or you can ruin them. I personally boil them.

I use a cheap heat gun from Harbor Freight, set on low I go around the tire for 30 seconds, stop and see if its starting to loosen up, then I keep going around the rim for 15 second intervals til it completely loosens up then flip the wheel over and repeat, works great for me. Always keep the gun moving never stay in one spot. Rims and tires are reusable with this process.

Yes. Left-handed drill bit has worked for me before.

Baking is best, wheels were ok, but I didn't care about the plastic wheels, not sure they would be perfectly round anymore after pulling tires off. Boiling never worked for me.
