I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a good way to bore it accurately.

Anything less than precision in a bearing is problematic.

Lights are a nice touch. WHatya use for rear buckets?

How many of y'all think or take the k10 in deep water? Saying deep as in 6 or 7 inches. Mine is complete stock yet say for a new servo that is waterpeoof. Well and light kit.

The receiver box is only splash proof. If you submurge it you will fry the receiver.

So what you saying is that a couple inches is not terrible. What did you do about the breather holes in stock rims?

I never did anything with the tires. I try not to get more than an inch or so. But I usually upgrade my wheels and tires and typically don't have issues because they are not vented.

My first real crawl/ride with my K10 WB Ascender was pretty hardcore considering it was new & I barely knew how to control it balance wise and whatnot.
I mention this because you asked how many of us traverse deeper water; mine flopped on to it's side & rolled down into a 3' deep water erosion ditch we were crawling past , landed on it's roof in about 8" - 10" deep ,running water.
It took me 1min to get to where I could grab it without falling in myself. Its motor ,battery ,servos, receiver , ecm , everything had been fully underwater ,while on , for at least 70-90 seconds.

I shook it off , cursed , then slowly spun the FWRD then RVRS throttle to "sling" what h2o I could but then kept on driving.

These things are water resistant and almost water-proof. I wouldn't dunk it but they can handle some water . I dielectric grease everything , same as my full scale rigs.

Has anyone touched on or even had a problem removing the bolt that holds the spare tire on. Mine is acting as if it is over tightened from factory and wants to round in the plastic holder.
