| K10 freshen up
Decided to start a build thread, nothing crazy since it’s pretty much built but going to do a k10 build close to my 1:1. Got a new proline stepside body. Finally got it cut out but kind of disappointed. It’s crazy thin along the doors and fenders. Picked up some RC4WD warn hubs and rear center caps and some gmade ralleys. Waiting for my bfg ko2’s that should be in Monday. I’m going to paint it white and will probably get the ssd front bumper. Should have the body fitted and installed by the weekend. Changed my mind on the tires and got some bfg krawlers. Since I crawl a lot in rocks and sand I wanted a little more aggressive tread. I think they will look pretty sweet when I get them all mounted up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You should look into using the rear lower body post mounts from a vaterra rear cage to mount the body at the rear, have a look at my thread and you will see I couldn't quite get the body to mount forward enough ( proline 66 chev ) without cutting the body post mount off the rear shock towers. Maybe you won't have any trouble with that body, but I did with the 66 one. Tyres look cool, soo many tyres I want!!! Can't wait to see how the body turns out. |

Yeah that’s how I installed my Toyota hilux body but with this one it’s lining up pretty good. I’m thinking I might try magnets on this one. I’m going to try and get it painted tomorrow. I know what you mean about tires. I was just going through mine and I have a suitcase and gym bag full of them. I think I have everything proline and Rc4wd offer in a 1.9. Made some progress on the body. Got it fitted and painted. Got the new tires mounted. Just need to install the decals and should be good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Finished the body, I think I’ll lower it a little though. Couldn’t figure out why the rear hubs wouldn’t tighten up then realized both axle shafts are bent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
