| The First Ascender....Thanks Natedog
Since almost day 1, Nate AKA "Natedog" has been a huge supporter of the Ascender platform. Even while i had my hiatus from Horizon, Nate was still here supporting it. Recently while digging through my garage i found the original test rig of the Ascender. Though i always like to keep #001 or the R&D test rigs, I thought that Nate would like to have this one. As you can see from the images, it was used to test all kinds of different parts and accessories over it's life span. Thanks Nate for all your help answering questions, testing setups and supporting the members and consumers here on this board. It's just a small token of my appreciation and hope you enjoy it...whatever you do with it Rich Last edited by Rich Trujillo; 05-31-2019 at 01:16 PM. |

How great is this?!?! Natedog is a big reason why I picked up one of the Blazer kits before they went away. It's next on the docket to be built! Hopefully I'll do y'all proud.

Perfect recognition prize! Natedog is one of the top-tier participating members here, pushing out so much info to newbies and experienced crawlers alike... Never seen anyone know a rig so inside-and-out! ...and, not to leave out Rich Trujillo, the one-two punch of a product designer and crawling aficionado being present on the forum sure helped the Ascender become one of the all-time most recommended rigs in the R/C crawler world. Fantastic idea to pass that particular example from one member to another! Last edited by durok; 05-31-2019 at 07:19 PM. |

Nice job Rich!!! Thanks for all your support. And Nate, you the man! Here is a good example of how Nate is always passing it forward, He won a Losi Night Crawler at Proline by the Fire last month and ask if I knew of a needy person who could use it better than he. SO...…...Nate is sending it to me, I'm going to build axles for it with some newly designed 3D printed axle housing done by CM9000 , do a little tuning and send on to someone on here. All part of the theme we push about passing it forward. Thanks a bunch Nate and Rich! Ernie Last edited by CODYBOY; 06-01-2019 at 10:46 AM. |

This might just have inspired me to keep my Ascenders, not that I had any issues with them. Congrats to Nate, and kudos to Rich T. positively repping Horizon! |
