Default Axle mounted servo

I'm working on an ascender based rig, looking for a servo mount for the front axle. I heard some early kits may have come with this as an option part. Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks

Yes, my kit came with it, picture in my thread, keeping it just in case. Good luck!

I gave up looking for one of those for the ascender axles. I did switch one of my ascenders axles over to scx10.II axles though; for better steering, plus Horizon makes axial stuff; also I had a set of SCX10.II axles with beefy tubes, so I gave it a shot, still need to adjust the links a bit.

SCX10.II axles are a better fit, have more build flexibility, and there are at least 2 servo on axle brackets/braces that I can think of, UCFAB, and hot-racing.

I’m also not too concerned about "oh, it not an ascender anymore , cause you changed the axles", its kinda like telling me my 3/4 ton dodge isn’t a dodge anymore, if I swapped out the axles.

I did find this with a google search:

My kit came with it. I went to use it on a build recently and discovered that it would only work with a shorty servo. Pretty much killed the idea for me. PM me if you really have to have it cause I ain't using it.

I ended up making one. The gearing in these axles didn't work out very well for what I was trying to do. I appreciate the offer on the mount. Thanks!

OK, thanks for the update, you should start a thread on whatever you're building. You're welcome!

YOu could always run a GRU between motor and transmission assuming you have room.
