Been chasing parts down after managing to get hold of a very good slider set up. It had been poorly made into a SWB rig, no idea what shell was on it before. a mate of mine asked if i wanted a shell, to my huge surprise, a new blazer- so that decided where it was heading and new husky links bought a bit of trial and error getting wheelbase and chassis length correct but finally getting there Rear end of the rails has been cut so will have to make a bracket to take the rear bumper but thats pretty much it. Tyres are due for a swap out to all terrain style as this will be mostly trail... 118455189_2694855960733143_3808412306958749746_o by Peter Rathbone, on Flickr |

Nice score! Those boom racing tires you got on there should be good for trail duty, I'm surprised you want to swap them out. I used to have a set, they seemed pretty grippy on just about everything and didn't load up in the dirt/mud. That said.... swapping tires around is a sickness... and I suffer from it too. |
