That's what an IFS Wraith is for.

Why do you think it needs more stability? Even so, adding 2.2's would raise the COG which would.........

Badger and Halfcab are right, this thing rips stock. No need for 2.2's and if thats what you really want, get the IFS Wraith. Only thing I plan on is getting a brushless system. Possibly thinking of the new Castle Sidewinder 3 so I can keep the waterproof capability.

I saw it today and it looks great, no need at all for wider or larger tires! I like it!

4600kv That's gonna haul ass! The 3100kv ROC 412 hits 22 MPH and that is very fast in the dirt, I'm thinking a 4600 might be to much since it's a 2 speed. If I were a single speed tranny then the 4600 wouldn't be so bad.

Badger, did you ever get a pic of this rig w/ the SC body on it? I think it was the Duratrax body that might fit well.

shoot me a PM if you go out to niles this weekend! I only have one battery so far, the others are on order. and i have to read these threads about "fixing" the twin hammers servo, which is kinda confusing to me since i'm a nooby.

Cool just the two i was looking at a good side by side.

Also i read the inst. and thespeed controler can be nickel metal or lipo? Have you tried to switch its mode as i have NO lipos and dozen nimh packs.

After talking today I think (when I do go brushless) I will stick with a low to mid 3000kV rating. And thanks for the info today, much appreciated!

I'm going to use my Hobbywing 12T/3000kv combo. The one with the smaller 380 size stator that they use in Tamya Mini spec racing.

Reason be, dumb and durable, the small stator makes it a revver, not a torquer (has low range for that) and will be easy on the liddle battery.

Anyway, I hope it will be here tomorrow so I can start on my own thread and get out of Badgers...

Went night crawling with subyjeff and Badger. I put a tekin rs and redline 13.5 on 3s in mine with a one off maddog Rc light bar. Badger was running the rs/ rock412 3100kv with his dis continued hand bros lights on 3s 2200mah pacs, both rigs went over 2hr on 2 2200mah packs each subyjeff ran all stock with a sic flashlight taped to the hood that worked out awesome he used 4 2s packs that come with the twin hammer in the same amount of time doing crazy hill climbs jumps and all around abuse most fun I have had in a long time driving these rigs in the dark with lights on them is the only way to go

Halfcab, SubyJeff and I went on a almost 3 hour trail ride to tonight with lights up this big hill behind Carlmont high school. I've never been up as high as we went and talk about some fun crawling and bashing/jumping. It was really cool to see three Twin Hammers with lights crawling up cracks. The 500,000 weight diff oil in the front works very well, my rig was definitely more capable crawling then the stock front diffs.

It was good to meet you SubyJeff, thanks for making the long drive out to our neck of the woods.

Hi!

How about handling this vehicle? On videos it looks like the car pushing the front and isnt turning perfectly well. And how about the tires hardness? Any oil leaking from shocks? Any negative feedback or necesarry modification?

Thanks

Did you happen to grab any good pics while you were out there? I can't wait to install lights on my rig but the light bar I have is too wide by about half an inch.
