Oh my! Wow John, looks like you guys are stepping up! So, when is the Vaterra Event? I will come watch, though out of respect I'll leave the Green machines at home

I suggest seeing if you can use a smaller servo on the transmission to save space. You could also make your own aluminum body panels and add some scale light bars.

Is it 48p ? kinda hard to tell from the pics. What motor/ esc combo are you putting in it? , I have Tekin 17.5, 10.5, pro4 3300 or 4000 sitting here ready to go and not sure what to try first. I dont have any 5mm 48p so I might have to go with the 2 pole first.

Since I am going to run a shorty 2s lipo Battery, it gives me room to put the Tekin FX-R Speedo in the back tray.

I am planning on runing a 27 turn brushed motor for Smoothness in those tight sections.

The Servo is already a small servo, I plan on leaving that stock, at this time.

I like the Idea of making a Aluminum Side body panels. and I know Vanquish is making light bars for the roof!!

Using the Spektrum 6030 Servo giving the speed and torque that I am looking for, 278 oz in. and I will be using a 6030 as the servo winch also.

Losi Crawler Servo Arm gives me the clearance as well as the strength need in the rocks

Hey how would you compare the low gears speed compared to "other" scalers we are familiar with?

Why the name change on the thread title? Not allowed to run this rig in a G6?

Where the esc used to be. I'd run esc and rx in sealed box on left side of pan and 1300-2200 3s lipo cross-wise in the rear battery tray.
