Default Why must I be such an RC whore.

This hobby is worse than a serious drug habit.

I would have thought that the place you bought it from should have told you to adjust your end points before you use it.

I've worked the servo problem, its not end points, or the bedding in of the O ring.

It's living room carpets.

So to all new owners, after unboxing, and switching on please peel up your living room carpet and bin it.

How many stories you gonna tell before we get the truth?

1 Lap around, or while you were setting the EPA's? Can't be both.

Well lets see, asshole. While I was adjusting my servo, I was intermitently driving the vehicle to test it's shifting capability. Thus, the failure occured sometime between me holding the car and ****ING with it, or driving the car and ****ING with it.

Is this an acceptable explanation for you, Detective Cocksmoke?

I dunno about you, but i work hard for my money and i'm not to keen on just "chalking up the failure to poor quality control" or just saying "oh well"... if i go plop down 400 bucks on something i expect it to work. Case in point it doesnt matter if i was adjusting the epa, driving the car, or rubbing my ballsack on the hood.... the thing was 5 minutes out of the box and it quit.

Wow somebody woke up rough this morning.

So in 1 lap around a lets give you credit, 30x30 living room, that means you drove it only 94 feet.

Why not set end points with the wheels off the ground, you know like how you should be. This allows you to see the shifting mechanism and servo and listen or notice strain and how it is working. Start at no epa, then slowly add it in.

Once EPA is set, then and only then place car on surface to drive where you will not be able to hear any issues to save yourself the headache of going to your LHS or even dealing with Horizon Support.

Both your Local Store and Horizon will likely be able to help you on a warranty item as well as informing you the procedure to properly set the EPA.

Then my boss blows up in my face when i walk in the office, so i was ALREADY butt hurt!

Then you hurt my wittle feelings even more.

I've been told both methods? Set em with the wheels engaged on a surface and set em with the car on a stand? Now i have no clue which is the right one!?

So when the nice folks at horizon send me my new servo, how should i tackle this?

Yes got agreed with u there but everyone on here should already know of this problem and have a spare servo that uk will work on hand. When I bought my wraith the esc was all screwed up right out of the box and I was pissed. But ended up being a simple fix.
