What all did you have to do inorder to get that Wraith trans in? I was thinking about going the other way around, as in TH trans in a Wraith...

I just had to drill 2 new holes in the Twin Hammers Skid. You could definitely fit the 2 speed in a wraith though.

Any closeups of the rear sway bar while mounted? I'm planning on getting one eventually...

Like that idea.

as promised... here you go.

ditched the rear sway bar, its no good for crawling. could be useful to throw on for high speed stuff....

Even the soft sway bar? Did you try all three?

Did you ever run it with the TH trans, or just drop the Axial trans in right away?

I ran it with the TH tranny, but it only took about 10 minutes for the stock shifting servo to let go. I've heard from the factory the endpoint adjustments on the servo are crap, I just didnt feel like dealing with all the other stuff that comes into play with a 2 speed tranny, I'm going for reliability.

Yeah, I ran the softest one, and it just kept lifting tires in the rocks.

Sorry to keep asking, but how do you feel the top-end is with the wraith trans, compared to the TH trans? I am also thinking bout making the swap for simplicity reasons.

Cool vid.

Thanks man. Its got PLENTY of speed. Granted I am running a 3 cell lipo....
I think my gearing is like 24/80 (pretty sure) and its got plenty of torque and speed.

Thanks, I am running 3s too. With a 13.5, my top speed is a little over 20mph... and yesterday when I was out driving, and having to switch back and forth from low to high, it seemed to get a little annoying (a lot of times I forgot and was still in hi, and it crawled fine).

I think with adjusting the powerband of the motor (through castle-link, or whatever), I believe you can get away with just a single-speed trans. I also could be way off, because I never had a 2speed trans (in an electric).

I guess I will just try it out. Thanks for the input.
