| n00b's Twin Hammers
I finally got my Twin Hammers box today! It's a nice box. Quick notes: Dimensions - 20"x13"x9-1/2" Weight - 10 lbs. 1oz. Make - Vaterra Color - Green, white and orange Theme - Black and green truck Initial impressions: The box was a lot smaller than I expected for the price. I guess $400 only gets you a 20" long box these days. I remember when $300 would get you a 24" box. Anyway, the lack of box size was made up with the awesome angled end. Now that is rare in a box! I love this box! And the weight? Over 10 pounds! That is a hefty box let me tell you. I was shocked at how they could get this much weight into this size of a box. Better value than an SCX10 box I think. Also, there is no lack of content on this box. Trucks, people, green, and so on. Here are some pictures. I can't get enough of that angle! Comparison of the Twin Hammers next to an SCX10. The Twin Hammers has a higher center of gravity than the SCX10. That kinda worries me. It does have a wider stance though. I still might have to lower it. I know it's early, but this might be the best box of the year. I can't wait to take it outside! |

What's the plans for future mods? Upgrade staples, glue or tape?

I think it will be ok since it is more aerodynamic than the Dingo. Much better stylistic cues IMO. |

Can you verify that its waterproof? It looks splash proof.

So far it's handling better. I'm going to keep it simple. Maybe some tape and paint. I want to keep it a fun and dependable box. Quote:

I'm not sure about the boxes sexual orientation so I have no comment. I took it outside for a shakedown run. Rolled it. Luckily there was no damage. Test drive video Vaterra Twin Hammers test drive - YouTube | |||

I am wondering what you are going to come up with, as far as a yota body on that. What ever you do it will be badass. |

LMAO So will that box need a BEC or will the super stylish angled box compensate for the need for a funtioning unit ? |
