Default Window nets

Has anyone tried the associated or losi short course buggy window nets for fitment on the hammers? I think it would make for some nice detail.

I was thinking about that but the LHS doesn't have the AE or Losi rigs in stock so I can check them out/measure.

If someone could get measurements, that would be great.

Losi XXX-SCB nets are about 5 cm tall and about 8.5 cm at the top and 9 at the bottom in length with a extra 2mm or so for mounting tabs at the front an back. This is just a rough measure of them with them installed on my SCB.

For my crawler and SCT, I spray painted some white mesh (laundry bag) and shoe goo'd it inside the body. Cut it whatever size you want and paint to your liking....

My attempt at the current style of window nets used on the KOH rigs, its fibreglass fly screen mesh, works a treat.

I looked at the fiberglass stuff tonight at Home Depot.

Decided on some other stuff instead. Seems way more durable.

That stuff looks pretty damn strong alright, I was thinking of trying to do the quick release type of rod on the top as well. I found it too easy to run it to the screws on the roof panel and a couple of zippys for now, a project for down the track maybe.
