yes , that's the one!!
Also have others that are a little bit thinner. Dont know the brand (at work now) but they also touch a little bit but will be able to close the hood then

*edit:
This the other one, a little bit shorter but same height!!

PICHLER Modellbau

I have 3 types of battery, one of the three is the one.
Even in my T.H. with this battery installed in front is difficult to close the hood.

My T.H. has the possibility of moving the battery to the front or center,
when I use the configuration "crawler" with front battery, I use a 3s lipo 1800mA, which is smaller,
and is a good battery, with 17.5 brushless motor, the duration is approximately 40 minutes.

Considering of removing the cross under the hood (frame) it would be a perfect fit then!!

Really diggin' the front suspension set up... I might have to fab up something similar.

With that you could run a pack in the factory position and one up front, and wire them in parallel for maximum run time. This would also not put too much weight in one area of the vehicle. It would also help keep the front wheels on the ground.

Certainly, or you can choose a smaller battery

It is accurate, you understand the whole meaning of my changes

Hi dear, see also here

I finally prepared the support for the winch,
but I built something out of the ordinary, the support is quick release,
without mounting screws, to mount the winch only when necessary,
and take it off in 10 seconds when you have to make speed races

Coming soon the pics

You sir are very talented. I love to look over the posts that you add, it gives me a lot of inspiration... As far as your English goes.. It too is far superior to some who speak it on a daily basis.. What you have done with the twin hammers in the short amount of time they have been out is outstanding... I to hope to see you become a vendor in the near future... You can count on having business here in Colorado.
Best regards.

This is a small personnel modify to install the winch in front so that it is easily and quickly removable.

To the front original slide I removed the internal ribs on the sides and I made 4 counterbores to house
the heads of the fixing screws of the winch.

the outside instead remained intact, I did it without drilling screws it steps

then I realized the support, delrin black,
thought to be wedged into the sleigh and in the cage front.

The winch is attached to the bracket with its screws

The cable guide plate when mounted support is flush with the upper edge of the slide

The installation is simple, to have no interference with the winch I filed some
setups for the front sway bar that does not ever ride on,
and I set the original slide.

then I put the winch support, which fits in the slide

When I close the hood, support winch fits also in the cross of the cage front.

The result satisfies me, in the sense that once closed the hood the winch is well balance and does not move,
but when you want it is sufficient to release the 2-way connector of the winch,
open the hood, and quickly takes off everything and you are ready for a speed circuit without winch

This change was made entirely by hand, then it is not nice to look at, but it is very functional,
I would love to have a Milling in my house ...

The racing season has begun, and I'm going to use my Twin Hammers for some competition.
Mip does not seem to be ready to build CVD, and I do not want to wait,
and so I decided to build for me a pair of axle shafts reinforced, as these

I ordered yesterday the material, as soon as I receive it beginning to build,
stay tuned

I was finally delivered today Mip CVD to begin construction of the new axle shafts front of my Twin

The Mip driveshafts for Slash 4x4 compared with the standard driveshafts Twin Hammers...

The size comparison are amazing!

Here is my project that will start next week:
the necessary ingredients for a "robust" results are as follows,

Sorry for writing in Italian, translate, "semiasse" means "axle driveshaft and
"Differenziale" is differenti al Gear.

I am also impatient to see them already completed,
but for now my Twin I have no intention to disassemble it,
I need working for this Sunday, we play in the race

These days I built the new body panels, simple and very light, with a "original" graphic i install them tonight
