I got a care package from horizon today! New shift servo, steering servo and 4 shock over haul kits.

I also got more work done to the front cage tonight, still need to gusset the shock hoops.

Here's my latest work I've got done, installed a new 9157 futaba steering servo, power HD 1501 servo with internal yea racing winch controller, a new set of 1.9 gearhead hammer wheels and 32 pitch gears.

12T 32p Novak gear. Note that this gear needs to be installed on the motor first before mounting it to the transmission due to clearance issues.

A very nice and tight fit ;)

32p 56t AE gear.

Servo winch installed with delrin fairlead.

Here's a short video of the winch in action. This rig is about 5lb 12oz .

1.9 PB w/gearhead hammers

no

28/78 is stock. that's about 2.78.

12/56 is about 4.66.

I think the spur would have to be about 33t to keep the stock ratio with a 12t pinion. So its a slower ratio by far, is that right?

Ok here's my latest update with the 1.9 gearhead hammer wheels I just bought. The stock off set was not working out the tires were rubbing the inner steering links, so I decided to make spacers out of washers that will look like rotors. I'm gonna post up pics step by step how they were done.

I started off with 2 washers with 1/2 inner holes and some blue painters tape.

I used the tape to cent the washer around the stock hub.

Make sure it fits snug

Locked down in the vice, now push the wash down and cut the extra tape off

It should look just like this.

Now put the hub back on to the rim with the washer and mark all 6 holes with a marker.

Now remove the washer from the hub and Center punch every hole

Vice the washer and dill it out.

Test for all the holes to the stock hub

If all your hole are straight then you can cut to make slotted rotors or just sand in a 45 angle

Note that your screws will need to be almost twice as long. Hope you peps like it.

got window mesh ? Haha

Funny that the twin hammers has 4 screw holes around the window, 2 on top and 2 on the bottem, it works perfect to hold in the mesh screen.

I shave down the rear shock mounts so they are not so bulky looking lol and reinforced the mounts with a cross brace.

Made new sway bar mounts and spaced they away from the lower links for better clearance.

Got some wheel screws in today I was just messing around with them haha I'm debaiting if I should do all the wheels? What do you guys think?
