Just an update for those of you who are do it yourselfers, or just cheap like me. I've got 8 packs through the homemade bell crank set up so far without any issues. It works so much better than stock. I swapped out the extra tie rod i was using as a brace with the original steering rack. I milled it down a bit for clearance. I used the stock bearings that were in the rocker arms above and below the "bell cranks". There is no binding or slop in the steering at all now. Only negative is that I think there's a bit more bump steer, but honestly, I never checked the original design. As you can see, fitting either a rocker shock setup or outbound is no problem.

I find it beautiful in it's simplicity.

Also thought I'd say me and a buddy had a great day of crawlin today with our twammers. I was really starting to like these little cars, started to realize they were doing a lot of lines with less difficulty than my honcho which is set up pretty good. Biggest issue we had was probably the steering. Mine started out sloppy and now is a lot sloppier. I was starting to have binding issues, even with my s197 servo. His was binding even worse, may have been why his cs 170 died and he had to change to his spare servo. So Derwood thanks for offering a badly needed product
