I wanted to buy one of these for the longest time. I ment to buy a new one but I could pass up the deal I got on this. I paid $200 bones for this one. It came with. HR Hardened gears in the tranny HH 13 T brushed Motor Hitect 225 shift servo solor 772 steer servo junfac drive shaft It had no rims and tires but I had a set of swampers I have either some stock axial rims or proline rims with MT rings. which ones would yall use. If I use the axial rims I will get some rings for it. I bought the gcm shock kit because Ive been reading a ton of these builds and it seems to be one of the better kits to use. I have some spare scx-10 shocks to use. I like the Junfac piggy back shocks but haven't pulled that trigger yet. I have no manual to refer to so this will be a blind build so to speak. I notice the motor wires seem to small I will probably upgrade them to a larger size. If yall see something I'm missing let me know. I have a Mamba max pro esc I'm not sure if it runs brushed motors or not but I will research that. I've only used Holmes esc's in the past. question...is there a BEC wireing diagram for dual servo's for this rig? if so can you post a link. I can wire 1 but not sure about 2. You can run a MMP with a brushed motor and I don't think it has a motor limit. Try this! Wiring 4WS to BEC Sent from the tinker room Last edited by xigtc; 08-24-2013 at 08:52 AM. |

Got My GCM conversion in the front and a set of scx-10 shocks tuned down to fit. I like it so far. I'm gonna need to paint this kit black I dont like the natural finish and just my luck as soon as I buy it...then they start offering it in black Here's some RC Porn to tide yall over till the next progress report Last edited by Mr. Ed; 08-29-2013 at 08:19 PM. |

Excited about this weekend...I stayed up late last night and FINALLY got it running. I have to wait for the ground to dry up from the rain last night but I'm going to get to drive it for the first time |

Well I got to drive it in the drive way for about 10mins...the motor got pretty warm. I dropped it from a 23 tooth pinion down to a 20 and that seemed to help. I grabbed Taylor (My Daughter) and her Toyota and went to the lake for a quick run. made it about another 10 mins before the set screws on the drive shaft came loose...and of course I didnt bring the right tool but in the 20 mins of driving....WOW its a TON of fun!!!! |

Looks good. Im assuming since its running you worked out the bec, if not run shift servo off esc bec and power steering direct from castle bec. I had issues trying to run both. |

| Re: Mr. Ed's Twin Hammer That's the way I got it wired...I didnt figure that a hitech 225 could burn up a MMP...and if it does...I'm Officially done with Castle Products |
