Manual Shifter? Smoked another shift servo. it's hanging up now for some reason so I will pull the gearbox apart and apply some massage therapy. I have been considering two things: 1) installing spring loaded linkage which should help save Mr. Servo should this happen again or... 2) building a manual shifter. true, it's not as convenient and probably not good for everyone but I might work good for me and it will lower the CG a bit. I could even put a little white shifter ball knob on it - Ha, just like my 1:1s (they all have clutch pedals, I tolerate nothing else) Someone's probably done it by now I'm sure - Any thoughts? |
Re: Manual Shifter? im still using the stock shift servo.ive had my TH since it came out.im sure you set you end points? if a manual shift lever works better for ya i say do it.have it come up right through the interior. :) |

And, BTW there is no interior so that's a non issue! (I'm not much of a scaler in the traditional sense) |
Re: Manual Shifter? was a cool idea though ;) |
