Well shipping has taken what seems like a long time to me but bye the tracking number it is going to be here tomorrow. Thanks for the offer though.

If it does show up tomorrow I may be able to get something done this week but I will be out of town staring Wednesday for five days. So it may be next week to get it done.

I have ordered from blue monkey twice, and shipping both times has taken at least 8 business days for me to receive parts here in Tennessee.

Thanks Irie! Installed just the top plate, I was still able to keep my MG200 shock tower. The top plate is beefy, the steering is smooth, and turning radius is better now. Upgrading my servo, will give a field update after I get the servo installed. Thanks again for the quick service.

Any update on steering help for those of us with the GCM front plate?

I just received the GCM & Blue Monkey towers yesterday right as I was leaving town. When I get home next week I will get on it and let you all know when done.

Well had some time so I started with the GCM tower. So here it is

It works great it came out with very close to the same geometry as my top plate. I use the slots that are already in the GCM top plate so there is no modifications to be made just bolt in.

If you could let me know how many of you are interested in this kit it would really be appreciated. At most it looks like it will be around $40.00 shipped I need to get a price for just the arms cut out then I will no for sure.

I know I want this! Yes I do! And I'd be happy to sell them in the store! If needed, I could also supply you with a spacer that gives nice large support for the bellcrank system and interlocks on the slot to make it super tough .( If there happens to be a need there.... )

A stand off that locked into the slot would be great it would make it much stronger. Or if the outside slots were not there and just a hole for the stand off, then the stand off would be easier to produce and strong. I could make them but I have to do it on a manual lathe/mill and it would be very time consuming for me to make many sets. We really should talk and work somthing out.

Bye the way I always thought your tower looked good and now that I have one I think it looks even better.

Thanks for that. I'm happy to make a standoff that works just for this application. Easy, and won't cost much to add to the kit, replacing the standoff you have already. I can get some simple measurements from you and off we go. Let's get chatting on the email and make up some stuff.

Well you will get the two arms, 4 bearings, center link with rod ends, stand offs and all hardware.
40 dollars is a high estimate I do not know how much just the arms cut out are going to be yet, all I have had done is the full kits cut. When he gets back to me I will know for sure. I am just trying to get an idea how much interest is in this.

I've got the GCM plate and you can count me in for the steering help. Mine is torn apart and waiting for this help.

I know you were looking into it, but did you ever find out if your arms will bolt up to the derwood upper plate?

I'm in too. My only question is, buy it now or wait til GCM has the updated standoff?

Would the standoff be available seperately later?

I'm interested. I get terrible torque steer for about 1/2 a second when I get on the throttle. Brushless and 3S will do that...

Anything that helps to eliminate the slop will serve us all well...

They will work with the derwood top plate but I am not going to make a kit per say, all they need is a different stand off. I found that not every derwood plate was the same so I could not make one kit that fit all derwood top plates. I would be willing to do them on a one by one basis if interested.

I am going to make the standoffs for the GCM towers the same as they would be made from GCM. It just takes me longer because I have got to do them by hand. So I think either way it will be the same.
