I'm in for a GCM version. I will want all the GCM stuff so I am happy to get the lot from GCM if they are going to sell them.

I sent the DXF file to be cut yesterday and he said he should be able to get them cut buy the end of the week. I ordered the bearings last week (Thursday I think) as soon as I get everything I will have them for sale. The GCM steering will be $**.** dollars.
It seems the faster I go the slower everyone else is, hurry up and wait.

I am still going to try to. I have been focusing on the GCM kit to get it ready for all.
The blue monkey will be next, buy what I have done so far the blue monkey is going to be tougher to get correct steering geometry with. It is very narrow where the steering should mount.

I do not know if I would do that just yet.

Other than check it out and do some quick measuring of the Blue Monkey tower I have not got into it, at all yet. Between getting more of my kits made and working on the GCM kit I have not even started on the BM really.
As for my steering working better on the GCM, if I make a kit for the BM tower the steering geometry will be right and work properly or I will not make it or sell it.

It's no biggie. I like the Blue Monkey one because it has a K3 winch mount (which I love). I run the Traxxas bell crank currently but after unpressing it and pressing it back together I question it's durability in the long run. Just let me now if you ever get around to it.

Me too! This and the Vanquish trailing arms in silver being out of stock everywhere are the only things keeping me from finishing my TH.

You are right there is always a choice but I live in a small town and try to keep money local as much as I can and as I said I have known this guy for years.
I am just impatient I guess I need to remember this is my hobby.

I wanted to post up some pics of the IRIE kit installed with the Derwood shock mount. It bolted right up without any problems. Fit and finish of the IRIE is top notch and it removed most all of the play out of my steering.

If you want to see more on my build here is the link:

Looking at your picture made me realize that I have never posted the servo horn I use. It straitens out the steering link that goes from servo horn to steering arm and removes the angle. Which will give a more linear steering, maybe not allot of difference but it is noticeable. Also you can use the leftover pushrod turnbuckle from your cantilever shocks witch is stronger and does not pop off.

Servo horn part numbers:
TLR1555 for 23T
TLR1556 for 24T
TLR1557 for 25T
