| How to get rid of flips when cornering fast?
It happens already with stock configuration and 2S so definitely won't be much on its wheels when moved to brushless and 3S . What would I need to change apart from adding sway bars?

Biggest help for cornering would be to change rear diff from locked to open which will help but bad for crawling. If intersted just search the forums I know it has been done.

You also want to lower your center of gravity. That means relocating the battery. You can either locate it to the chassis and relocate some of the electronics, or get a GCM front shock mount and relocate the battery to above the steering. In the end, the spare tire is a huge problem from a performance standpoint and some people replace it with a portion of foam rubber and then run a cover over the foam so it LOOKS like a tire but doesn't add the weight of a tire. Apparently this helps a lot too! I have found that by running heavier beadlock rims, hub extenders which give me about an extra inch of width, and the sway bars, I have drastically improved the stability. I have not relocated the battery. | |

Yea, open rear diff will help you go straight under power but have little effect with speed induced flipping in corners. (comparatively) Lower the CG by any and all means (esp that unnecessary tire at high altitude), add sway bars. And if you are focused on going fast, the last thing you need is added unsprung weight - that's any parts that move with the suspension, tires, wheels etc. Add weight (lead) to the chassis down low instead. Crawling is another story, If you want the kit to be best at that, forget swaybars, and add heavy wheels and lock the diffs. It's all about compromise |

I've seen the biggest performance increase from wheel wideners and having less preload on the shocks.. -Corrupt |

wider stance helps alot. But you also want to keep it light. Basically everything Photon_trap said plus wheel wideners will increase the stability. Also, the tires. If your doing track racing, get some track tires. The high and soft side walls on crawler tires dont work the best for going fast and turning.

You should not widen the track width. Sway bars, lower cg, shock, oil and spring setup will get you better results. Out of the box, I put 8mm external shock limiters on the rear shocks. |
