Default shift servo

Hi. After only a couple hours of run time, something seems to be wrong with my shift servo. It seems the shaft will get stuck or not move from one gear to the other. I went through the shift servo setup and tried all that already. Sometimes when I hit the throttle, the motor will rev up but the wheels will not spin. This product is fairly new and shouldn't be acting up like this already especially for how light I have been running it. Any quick fix options or will I have to purchase a new shift servo already? Any type of response is appreciated.

Sounds like there is something wrong with the servo. Call Horizon in my experience they have very good costumer service and stand behind what they sell.

You can remove the cage and inspect the shift action. Make sure its moving all the way. Plug in a battery and operate the shifter. That should tell you where the problem exist.

i removed the servo and tried to manually adjust the shaft. it is very stiff moving and i'm thinking maybe the tension from the shaft burnt up my servo. if that is the problem then I think a new servo will eventually do the same. i'm not ready to give up on this hobby but i think i'm frustrated already haha. thats probably a good thing.

mine is stiff as well...I leave it in first gear for now! anyway, 13.5T sensored with a 3S battery is plenty fast for that I do with it!
