The TINY tail cage mod....
 
I've seen this done before and it's pretty easy but here's a little how to.
The plan is to make the tail end of the cage shorter.Here's what you start with.

Here's what it'll look like when you're done.

You need to remove the spare tire mount and the rear cross brace.

Test fit the cross brace where it's to be cut. And mark your holes.then cut off the excess cage.

Then drill your holes and using the stock hardware screw the cross brace into place.And this is what you'll end up with.

I actually just left the holes that were about .25" from where you ended up drilling the new ones, looks good tho like this with the forward angle to it
