Default Twin Hammers Kit

Hey Guys,

I'm just getting back into this crawler thing after a few years of stepping away. I've been heavy into the rc racing scene since and have loved it but needed something to cure the itch while I'm traveling and also when I can't race. After looking at ALL of the different options out there I decided that I would go with the Twin Hammer Kit. I liked the Idea of another Wraith and the Yeti looks awesome but when you get an axial you almost have to Immediately start upgrading especially if you wanna beat on it at all. Maybe not the Yeti, but for sure the wraith. Anyway, I could have spent the same amount of money and got a RTR Twin but really liked the upgrade and options parts that come with the kit version and usually just end up pulling the RTR electronics soon after anyway. Plus I dig the build. I'm building it up stock right now and I'm gonna see what it needs and I'm sure upgrade as time goes on. Right now for electronics I'm gonna run a Tekin RX8, SC4.5X motor, Radio Post Blue Servo, and Castle bec on 2s. It should be a good time, I'll post pics of how it turns out tonight when its finished being put together.

It's a fun little all-rounder and the effort of building the kit over the RTR is definitely worth it.

Ok guys, I got the truck built and played with a little bit. But now I've torn it back down to make some modifications. I was going to make my own from upright shock mount but decided I didn't have to time so I have a blue monkey upright coming hopefully later this week or next. What I'm playing right now is how I want to power this thing. I have a Novak Ballistic 17.5, Integy 35T brushed, Tekin SC4X 4.5 motor, or Trinity D3.5 13.5 I could put in. I think I'm going to stay 2S unless I put the brushed motor in, so I'm just looking for opinions of what you guys like and I'll go from there. Thanks in advance for the help.

Well can you give us a little info on how you would like to use your TH? If you want it to crawl or be more of an all around basher type rig. I have both and I love these trucks. I really can't think of a better rig to grab if your just leaving the house and don't know what kind of terrain you'll encounter.
