Default GCM front plate & 4200mah shorty

Hi guys ,
I spent hours searching for info but could not find the answer to my question .
I installed on my TH recently the GCM front plate with upright shocks .
Reading that many of you have very good experience with 4200 shorties I got a few but found that they do not fit under the hood .
With a lot of cutting & grinding I more or LESS managed to fit it under the hood - BUT - no chance to plug the wires to the lipo !
Can anybody who runs 4200 shorties in the front come up with some pictures and comments ??
Thanks a lot !

I haven't been able to fit mine. The pack is too thick. I suspect you will need to build a custom hood to get 'er to go.

Hi ,
Made it .
With a little more cutting of the cage the 4200 lipo fits with the GCM plate .
Problem was not only to get the lipo in - but to connect the cables .
Here a few pictures :

In addition to the GCM plate I have the large aluminium battery tray in the back and have the choice now to run :
- 1x 4200mah under the hood
- 1x 4200mah under the hood + 1x 4200mah in the rear alu battery tray
- 1x 3s big lipo´s in the alu tray
