Default What do I need?

Hey guys I have wanted a th for a while but not sure what I need to complete the kit, I hear it needs a special sized battery, I'm guessing my old school stick packs won't fit, I havnt moved into the Lipo world yet, what battery exactly do I need? Also its a two speed right? So do I need a micro servo to shift? Anything else ill need besides the regular electronics? Thanks for being patient with me.

You'll need a mini sized servo for shifting the two speed.

Your going to want as strong as you can afford for the steering servo.

There are some aftermarket battery trays that allow use of fullsize stick packs. I prefer to run 2200 mah 40C 2s Turnigy and Zippy packs in the stock tray. The lighter batteries make the truck perform better, and they are cheap at something like $12 each.

The mini NiMH packs fit well, I just gave away a couple recently. If Hyou can afford it pick up a lipo charger and buy those zippys, you won't be disappointed. The difference for the same Mah rating is night and day, and you can almost double your Mah rating for the same size battery.

Alright,I guess it's time to join the future and go Lipo, now what turn motor should I go with? All my other trucks use 27t-45t motors but I want a little more speed out of this, but also don't want to sacrifice it's abilities in the technical stuff, any suggestions?
