it's a reaaaallllllly bad knock off. banggood carries it also, and has closeup pictures that show the lack of quality on this rig:

scroll about 3/4 of the way down and it shows the electronics in the rig and the cheesy looking shocks.

My only concerns would be the plastic they use, fitment of Vaterra parts and also the shipping. Also like that you can use paypal. I say go for it and test it for us lol

i looked everywhere for that 4pl knock off.. anyone have an idea where to find it?
its a cheap knock off, digital that allows up to 5 cars.. looks pretty neat for a beater radio..

Bad knockoff? The one posted in the op is spot on. The one banggood carries has independent rear and isn't near as close a copy.

Edit: I should have clicked on the banggood link first. Haven't seen that one on there...weird. Only one I have seen on there is the independent rear one I mentioned.

Regardless, looks half ass decent. I'm really thinking of picking one up. For the cost it should be worth it, hopefully.

Both of these bring back the T-Maxx days, iirc it was Banggood that had almost carbon copy of Traxxas T-Maxx and few people who bought them compained that the engine didn't last long, parts interchange with real Traxxas was hit and miss fitment, low quality plastic parts and rough fit and finish. I would not buy this crap.

SO anyone planning to get this one and try? I am planning to get a TH and will be upgrading the electronics anyways... this gives me more budget for upgrades. There are a few available online.

Is it possible that these are exess stock of the old RTR (given the paint Job) that have been sold off cheap as a "dry" chassis and the 'Chinese" have put cheap shocks and electronics in. I think I'm gunna get one as soon as I convince the Wife that I NEED another car to spend money on??!

With shipping the $129 one is $171, so that is still the cheapest out there. I am really thinking about picking one up.

I really want to pull the trigger on one, but I'm juggling like 5 hobbies now haha and the rest are calling my wallets name! Shock placement would change along with the shocks, obviously. Electronics would go next on favor of some budget brushless setup. Radio might actually stay. So there already I'm looking at a few hundred. Ugh the decisions...
