Took her out today and beat the snot out of my little twin, hanging with a bunch of wraiths and bombers, suprised the guys with how capable the little rig is.

After a particularly nasty tumble I broke a front driveshaft...

Did you try 500k in the front diff before locking it? Seems to be a good balance. Still crawls and can turn at speed. Reduced stress on the cvd. Sweet rig btw.

Thanks, I wish I had built the rig with the sealed diff rather than the locker. I may pull her apart and build it this way, I still have the diff gears etcetera. Might do this when I blow another cvd.

Just ordered some yeti trailing arms, to lengthen the wheel base. Hopefully 1.5inches.

Wow! 4/14 was the last drive of this rig...

I took her out today and had forgotten how good she was on the rocks... Crawled with my buddy and his ascender...

I climbed to the M, another steep rocky trail. This time with a buddy who has a wraith...

Good times. I was horsing around in the parking lot and sheered the rear driveshaft pin.

For Imgur, you'll need to add IMG quotes around the URL:

Code:

I don't really dig proline Sand Paws, looking at other options.

Was playing around yeasterday and by happy accident found the ecx barrage body fits this little rig like it was made for it.

Cut the fender flares off, drilled some screw holes, cut the bed out, an trimmed up the rockers.... ok ok it took some work.

The windshield is a little steep, but gives our little rig a very jeep ish look.

I have a Chinese Jeep clone body of the Axial keep that fits this chassis quite well, too. Just a thought.
