Default My first! Shlammer junk yard build

Bought a used twin hammer for my intro into rc, my little bro has a wraith so I needed something to bash with him, this thing has gone thru 4 body's, 1 cantilever Mount, I replaced the tranny gears cause it started making a weird Grindy noise, turned out to be the motor all the mods I've done, have been with caveman tools/methods and a box full of ramdom rc parts
LOVE THIS LITTLE BEAST

It's running all the stock electronics, shift servo is pretty much dunions, steering servo has approx 1.2billion nano feet of slop and the motor has died/seized a half dozen times! but she still keeps rippin

That is one of the ugliest TH Ive seen and i love it. Got a Mad Max feel to it and I'm talking old Mad Max. Good job. I love the Twin Hammers cause you can beat the shit out of it and it keeps goin.

I dig it. Reminds me of my neighbors parts bin SCX10/Hammers hybrid. Nothing bought, just used what he had on hand or could make.

On another note, where do you live to be getting that much snow already?

I really want to throw a scx10 front axle under under it, has anyone attempted this mod? Haha and sitting here just now I held the lower half of a wraith cage up to it, now I might trim the back off of the TH a little more

Your front shocks you need a stiffer spring. See how your a arms droop. But over all nice junk yard build.

I don't mean to sound negative, but matching rims is kinda a necessity here. First, different tires will have different circumferences and so it will create tension within your driveline as you have it set up. I like junkyard looks, but see if you can find matching wheels and tires. It will look better but will also perform much better. Keep us posted with pics!

I realize that having two different size tire effect the ratios and what not, traction was about zero about 9in of mashed potato snow. I drove it last night and toward the end of my run my car randomly shut off but the esc was flashing red I reset and reverse didn't work and my motor took a shit shortly after.
