I like their top plate and hoop set as well although I do like the look of the canti front end and personally I am not finding it restricting, but I am a newbie at this trail running/crawling game so perhaps its limitations will show as I get more experienced.

The reason I did it the way I did is, so I can play with the measurements.

When I get it where I want, I'll be making an aluminum mount

Other than my Grasshopper all my RCs have been IS, 4 link solid axle is new to me so until I have a bit more experience of working with it, I think I'll make use of other's R+D for the moment.

I gave the truck a run yesterday for a couple hours and the improvement is really noticable. All lateral movement is gone and the rear stays much more planted, especially at high levels of articulation.

A few photos from my run yesterday.

Well the first shock has blown. One of the fronts has a stripped thread and the cap won't stay on. Replaced the fronts with a pair of Tamiya CVAs I had lying around for now. I have been finding the back end a little stodgy so I opened up the holes in the piston a little, much more responsive now.

Looks great. GCM hoops are on the upgrade list for me. I like your light bar too, which model is that or is it a very fine custom job?

Oh that is just a 4 inch Vanquish light bar with the twin hammers specific mounts. I love the GCM kit. I'm far from done but your rig influenced mine for sure.

How about some body off shots? I'd like to see how those front shocks are mounted up.

Mine don't leak but did keep blowing the cap off one of the front shocks, so I have replaced these. The rears are still doing fine.

Depends on your springs, need to match fluid with spring rate for all to work correctly.
