Rear swaybar It seems like my rear swaybar hits the stock battery tray before the shocks bottom out anybody else have this issue? |
Re: Rear swaybar I don't have the sway bar, but I am pretty sure I have seen on here before that people have had that problem |
Re: Rear swaybar Yep. Dremel the tray. |
Re: Rear swaybar I was gonna do that but the battery is still in the way might try and bend the swaybar out http://i68.tinypic.com/14nlc7q.jpg[/IMG] |
Re: Rear swaybar Or maybe cut the swaybar back? |
Re: Rear swaybar I run the battery inline... Just bent mine out a bit on each side, and it clears everything. Not going to help much with your battery mounted crossways though. Might have to cut it back. |
Re: Rear swaybar Quote:
Do not start cutting the battery tray. There is just enough room if you do a little bending of the sway bar and if I remember right I toke a little off length. I run the large battery (shorty pack) in the tray and it clears the tray and battery fine, It just takes some tuning. |
Re: Rear swaybar Was able to bend them out just a bit, problem solved! |
